CALPARK - Scientific and Technological Park of Calabria

CALPARK - Scientific and Technological Park of Calabria (www.calpark.it) is a Consortium of companies constituted in 1992. Its social compages is constituted from Public agencies and local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

The strategic objective of the Scientific and Technological Park of Calabria, through the Authority of management that is CALPARK, is the improvement of the regional economic development, through the planning and the experimentation of projects of technological research and transfer of innovations oriented to the widening of the entrepreneurial matrix and to the improvement of the competitive performances of the local enterprises.

Regarding its experience in IPR, Calprk is the head office of the PatLib, a patent information centre. Moreover it has a spin-off called LP1 s.r.l., whose personnel are experienced in patent and licensing. Calpark is certificated UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.

Calpark is the promoter of the present proposal and it will play an important role as regard valorisation the(dissemination + exploitation) of the project's results, particularly to SMEs because it is a consortium formed by more than 20 enterprises involved in R&TD activities, co-operating at European and international level.

Calpark coordinates the kick-off meeting and the project final meeting.
